can reiki work for animals?

Yes. Animals are made up of energy, too! Reiki treatment for animals is slightly different from treating humans, but is equally effective.  Recently, my dog was attacked by another dog and required extensive emergency surgery. The veterinarian's prognosis was grim: my dog would need four draining tubes and could expect tissue necrosis, bruising, and subsequent surgeries.  I used Reiki daily with my dog on the affected areas for five days and the vet was astonished. My dog did not need more surgeries and the affected areas showed no signs of bruising or necrosis. She is now fully recovered with no permanent damage and only minor scarring.
